Chloe, with over 17 years of experience training students and horses in the hunt seat discipline, founded Walthour Equestrian Academy in 2007. Chloe attributes much of her knowledge to her trainer Ashely Henry, now head coach for the Savannah College of Art and Design's equestrian team which holds multiple national championship titles. Chloe attended Appalachian State University in NC where she competed for the IHSA Hunt Seat Team. Chloe prides herself on the unique mission of WEA to focus on teaching students horsemanship and training skills in conjunction with proper technique and form. Chloe knows her students are capable of working with horses from a training standpoint and not just taught to look the part on the easy mounts. The WEA program also holds many opportunities for students to become part of the management team. This mission is valuable for those who may consider the vast equestrian career field in their future.
